GETTING THE CORRECT HELP YOU NEED
LADD® has always offered a Multi-disciplinary Method. This is our guiding principle in how we help you. Getting all the help you need, as opposed to a one-size-fits-all treatment, or worse a mono-treatment path, is more effective.

IDENTIFYING AND ASSESSING THE ISSUES
Our efforts to provide treatment to as many different people as possible has meant that we first assess what you need via a detailed and in-depth investigation, then we compile a plan based on the finding of the investigation.

PRACTICAL TOOLS
We have developed a formidable array of practical tools, from which we choose to create a program that addresses the specific issues raised in the assessment process.

HOW WE WORK
We offer several different ways of working with our clients:

  • Small Groups
  • One-on-One Coaching for teens and adults. We always work with the family, and work with teachers where necessary

We offer training to:

  • medical professionals
  • teachers
  • parents / teens
  • businesses

In the near future training courses will be offered online with some group activities.

What is currently available:

LADD® ADHD ASSESSMENT TOOLS

LADD® does NOT diagnose ADHD.

Please note that the only people who are authorised to diagnose ADHD are:

  • General Practitioners (GPs) – not all GPs have specialised ADHD knowledge
  • Paediatricians
  • Psychiatrists
  • Neurologists
  • Psychologists (they can diagnose but not prescribe medication)

The assessment tools that LADD® provides aid medical professionals in making the diagnosis and also provide LADD® with the ability to design an appropriate LADD® ADHD Coaching plan and benchmark progress made.

These assessments play a significant role in the management of ADHD. Our Assessments are preferably conducted at a client's home or at a neutral venue. In some cases a family member or close friend may be asked to attend to ensure greater accuracy.

Poor Self observation is key characteristic of ADHD.

Parent / Teacher Intervention

Relationships between parents of ADHD children and educators are often needlessly adversarial.

LADD® MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ADHD COACHING SERVICES

Coaching takes place in different environments and in different forms. Given the complexity of the condition, ADHD Multi-disciplinary Coaching is part training, part skills adaptation, and part facilitation.

Wherever possible, the entire family is involved. All the co-occurring conditions are taken into account and dealt with when appropriate.
