I received this question from a reader yesterday.
I need your thoughts. I was one of those kids saved by Ritalin. I went off it at 15 . Now 37 I have very little concentration and focus in the work environment and wondering if it would be beneficial going back on to it, or if you have some other advice. I work for myself as an agent for a large company and lack a structured day which does not seem to help either.

I have no doubt that I am going to seriously annoy all those who believe diet is the solution to "fixing" ADHD.
But at 57 and having tried to be non-confrontational most of my life and failing pretty horribly much of the time I have decided I might as well give up the pretence of being nice and say what I really think.
Having ADHD is hard enough without having our self esteem further destroyed by treating us as though we are some special species who need to have every morsel that passes our lips scrutinised and analysed.
